Here is a picture my wife, Beth, took a couple of days ago and sent to me. I'm not sure exactly where this is but it looks like my neighborhood. As you can see, it appears that someone lost their weave trying to get into a locked dumpster area... or trying to get out. The narratives here are endless. Someone saw an awesome coat on the dumpster but was drunk. Or this area looked like a makeshift jail to someone... Really it only gets worse from there.
It appears to be raining which suggests a certain musty, garbagey odor here. I can smell it straight through the photo.
At this point I want to open this blog up to submissions. If you see anything that looks like questionable art, or maybe it's a pile of garbage, please take a picture and send it to me. If it is as interesting as a weave and a dumpster, I'll post it here. If you have some commentary send that, too. I get tired of hearing my own voice. I'm still playing with the formatting and concept of this blog so feel free to send any opinions as well. ..And you don't need to live in Minneapolis. My post will be all Minneapolis but I don't get out of town much.
...oooh. And is this art? Maybe some kind of subtle outdoor public installation?
